Bromley faced Barnet in an intense FA Trophy game. The home side defeated their play-off rivals with a 2-0 victory over the Bees at Hayes Lane to set up a semi-final with either Solihull Moors, Gateshead or Macclesfield.

First Half
Bromley had the perfect start to the game with Micheal Cheek opening the scoring inside the first 60 seconds to give the hosts the lead. Andy Woodman’s side were the dominant team in the first 10 minutes limiting Barnet to just a few chances. Callum Reynolds went down injured for a couple of minutes in the first half however the ex-Barnet player was able to continue and kept the hosts compact at the back in a tight affair.

Second Half
Barnet made a change at half time with Courtney Senior coming off with top scorer Nicke Kabamba replacing him. The Bees struggled to test Grant Smith, with the goalkeeper only having to make one stop the whole game from an Anthony Hartigan free kick. In the 67th minute, Bromley doubled their lead and booked a place in the last four of the competition with Olufela Olomola smashing the ball past Josh Keeley. The home side continued to dominate the game with Louis Dennis having a chance at the end of the game which wasn’t converted.

Andy Woodman has had an excellent period in charge of the Ravens so far having guided them to third in the table with nine league games to go and on his way to bringing Bromley back to Wembley to win another FA Trophy.
Bromley started their campaign with a 1-0 victory over National League South side Slough Town at home to get to the fourth round. They then had to go through penalties in the fourth round beating Chippenham Town on penalties 4-2. Then having back-to-back 2-0 wins in the Trophy over both Aveley and Barnet to get one game away from Wembley.
