Crystal Palace have agreed to a compromised £30 million fee with Fulham for the signing of 28-year-old Joachim Andersen with the Eagles stalwart set to finalise a move imminently.

Andersen previously enjoyed a loan spell at Craven Cottage, going on to be a key player for Crystal Palace following his departure from Olympique Lyon.

Crystal Palace have received interest for Guehi and Andersen

Oliver Glasner looks set to lose another member of his squad this summer following the departure of Michael Olise earlier this summer after Bayern Munich agreed a £60 million deal for the winger, as per The Standard.

Marc Guehi is another Crystal Palace player whose future remains uncertain after Newcastle United tabled a £65 million bid for the England international, according to The Athletic, although the Eagles remain firm on their £70 million asking price that has yet to have been met despite four bids from Newcastle.

Palace may well keep Guehi now following The Athletic’s report that Eddie Howe’s side are now weighing up alternative options, with Edmond Tapsoba and Axel Disasi potential targets.

It now appears however that keeping Marc Guehi has led Crystal Palace owner, Steve Parish, to agree on a cut-price deal for Joachin Andersen.

Fulham have agreed a £30 million deal for Andersen

Fulham made multiple offers to Crystal Palace to sign 28-year-old Danish international, Joachim Andersen but struggled to meet the Eagles’ £40 million valuation that was revealed by The Athletic.

David Ornstein has since revealed on The Athletic that Crystal Palace and Fulham have found a compromise following the Cottagers latest £25 million bid and agreed a fee of £30 million with add-ons included.

After 113 appearances for Crystal Palace, Andersen is now set to finalise a move to Fulham in the coming days.

Andersen previously enjoyed a loan spell at Fulham

Craven Cottage was where Joachim Andersen carved his name out in English football, joining Fulham on loan from Olympique Lyon back in 2020/21, featuring 31 times in the Premier League for the Whites.

Andersen subsequently joined Crystal Palace for a deal reported to be worth just shy of £19 million with the Dane penning a five-year deal upon signing.
