Fulham vs Manchester City Premier League Preview

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Fulham vs Manchester City preview as Man City chase a Champions League spot. City currently sit third on 68 points but with three teams chasing sitting on 66 points a loss could see them drop out of the top five.

When the sides met in October, it came just two matches after Rodri’s injury against Arsenal. The game was opened with an incredible Raul Jimenez back heel assist before Mateo Kovacic scored a brace, and then Jeremy Doku sealed the win. Late on, Rodrigo Muniz got one back, but the afternoon may mostly be remembered for Adama Traore, who had the best bad performance of the season. He cut the Man City defence open with ease but didn’t have the quality of final product to make the difference, ending the game with 1.29 xG and three big chances missed.

Fulham have won two and lost four of their last six matches, one of which was the last game against Brentford and the other away to Southampton.

City overcame the disappointment of the FA Cup defeat when they beat Bournemouth 3-1 with a wonderstrike from Omar Marmoush opening the scoring. Bernardo Silva and Nico Gonzalez put them 3-0 ahead going into added time, and the match finished 3-1. City will be without Mateo Kovacic, who got sent off in the second half for denying a goalscoring opportunity as the last man.
