League One Easter Team Of The Week

At the other end of the table, the pressure intensified as misery deepened for struggling Rotherham United and Northampton Town, leaving their survival hopes hanging by a thread.

GK – Sam Tickle – Wigan Athletic

The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive Easter weekend as Wigan Athletic picked up vital points, earning a draw at home to Leyton Orient and a 3–1 victory away at Northampton Town. Tickle proved crucial with a series of important saves, while his distribution also stood out as a key asset for the Tics.

RB – Perry Ng – Cardiff City

Registering three assists, including one for Ryan Ledson’s dramatic 106th-minute winner away at Leyton Orient, Roughan played a key role in Huddersfield Town closing the gap on the play-off places.

CM – Conor McGrandles – Lincoln City

The Scot once again showcased the quality he has consistently delivered all season, producing two man-of-the-match-worthy performances against Wimbledon and Reading. His significant contributions have helped Lincoln City confirm promotion, including setting up Jack Moylan’s dramatic 96th-minute winner to send the Imps faithful into pure elation.

CM – Harvey White – Stevenage

A product of the Tottenham Hotspur academy, White has been excellent for Stevenage this season and continued that form over the Easter weekend. After a strong display at Rotherham United on Good Friday, he followed it up with the winning goal and a man-of-the-match performance against Blackpool, underlining both Stevenage’s play-off credentials and his own potential to step up to a higher level.
