Manchester City Women are finalising a deal to sign United States midfielder Sam Coffey from Portland Thorns, with the transfer expected to be completed in the coming days.
City are understood to have agreed a fee in the region of $800,000 (£600,000) for the 27-year-old, whose contract with Portland runs until the end of the 2027 NWSL season.
