Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho could be sold twice in the summer transfer window.
The Premier League side have been clear that they do not want the Englishman to return to the club following his loan spell at Chelsea, whilst Enzo Maresca’s side would rather pay compensation to Manchester United than sign him permanently as they are contractually obligated to do so.
However, Chelsea could be set to change their stance as interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen confuses matters. The Stamford Bridge club could look to pay the money to secure him permanently from Manchester United, then look to sell him on immediately for a profit.
Jadon Sancho Attracts Interest From Former Club Borussia Dortmund
Sancho has struggled to recapture his Dortmund form in England at both Manchester United and Chelsea after having enjoyed two successful spells in Germany. But now, according to a report in GiveMeSport a return could be on the cards to Dortmund.
The winger played 158 times for the club over two spells, scoring 53 times and chipping in with 64 assists in what was arguably his most successful period of his career. He made the move to Manchester United in a £73 million move in 2021.
Fellow German club Bayer Leverkusen are also reportedly interested.
Neither Manchester United or Chelsea want him
In a bizarre transfer situation both Manchester United and Chelsea are seemingly locked in a battle to decide who wants Sancho least. It is clear that if there was no obligation to buy in the current deal between the two clubs then he would be returning to Old Trafford this summer. But the fact that Chelsea are seemingly more willing to pay money to not sign him says all you need to on how his spell with the Blue side of London has gone.
28 appearances, two goals and six assists and frequent displays that seemingly indicate his poor attitude and willingness to work that had become so apparent at Manchester United.
