Newcastle United Submit Fresh Bid for Benjamin Sesko

Premier League side Newcastle have submitted a fresh package bid worth approximately €90m for Bundesliga striker Benjamin Šeško, as the Magpies aim to beat Manchester United to the deal in their plans to strengthen their frontline before the transfer window closes.

Several top clubs have expressed interest in the Slovenian forward this summer, with Manchester United and Newcastle both awaiting the player’s decision as he considers his next move. However, Newcastle have now taken the initiative by submitting a formal bid in their efforts to beat Ruben Amorim’s side to the deal.

Benjamin Šeško is yet to make his decision on which club he will join, but Newcastle’s fresh offer is likely to accelerate the process, with the Premier League restarting in just under two weeks.

The Magpies are keen to bolster their frontline after recently signing Swedish winger Anthony Elanga ahead of the campaign. Newcastle’s aggressive bid signals their serious intent to secure the promising Slovenian forward.

Šeško’s decision could prove pivotal in shaping the balance of power in the Premier League throughout the season.

Newcastle United send a fresh bid to RB Leipzig

Newcastle’s bid has officially been submitted, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, which may prove crucial in determining which club Benjamin Šeško chooses, with his decision expected to be made within the next few days. Manchester United have made their interest clear to RB Leipzig and the player, with their offer ready to be submitted should the 22-year-old choose them.

Eddie Howe will be determined not to miss out on his target this time after having already failed to land several deals despite their efforts to reinforce their attack for the 25/26 season.

Hugo Ekitike, Joao Pedro, Byran Mbuemo, Liam Delap and Matheus Cunha – a growing list of high-profile names who have slipped through the club’s grasp.

With many of Newcastle’s top targets joining Premier League rivals such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea. The Magpies are going to need to act fast to sort their attacking situation out before the transfer window closes.

Isak Saga Adds Further Pressure

While focusing on their attempt to sign Benjamin Šeško, Newcastle will also want to remain cautious of Alexander Isak, with Fabrizio Romano reporting Liverpool have submitted their first bid for the Swedish striker, which was worth £120m plus add-ons.

Romano has also reported that Isak has made his decision for his future clear: he wants Liverpool.

With the list of players Newcastle have already missed out on, losing a player of Isak’s quality is surely going to be a make-or-break decision for them in their hunt to replace him and retain Champions League football.

Liverpool, on the other hand, will be desperate to land the Isak deal to complete their new-look attack after an incredible transfer window. The 25-year-old registered 29 goal contributions in 34 appearances last season – numbers the Reds will be very keen to introduce to their team in their ambitions of retaining the Premier League title.

Despite Newcastle opening doors to an exit, Isak seems destined for Anfield if talks continue to progress.
