Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, NORTH Wrestling (NCL) features wrestlers who are recognized inside and outside of the UK, giving them a platform to showcase their skills for local fans. On Saturday, November 2nd, NORTH Wrestling will present SLAMFEST 2, which will take place at the Linskill Center in North Shields. This is a “Pro Wrestling for All the Family” event, meaning that it is designed to be enjoyable for all ages, with clean, family-friendly content that appeals to both casual fans and superfans.
The NORTH Wrestling SLAMFEST 2 card
The event will feature TNA star Leon Slater and former WWE NXT UK Superstar Rampage Brown, and the card will be as follows:
Leon Slater will defend the NORTH Championship against Will Kroos (as seen in NOAH). Slater’s high-flying skills usually give him a big advantage in matches, but Kroos is known to take to the skies as well, even though he’s 6’3″, 273 pounds. This match will present a unique challenge for Slater, who is the longest-reigning NORTH Champion of all time.
Michael Oku (as seen in AEW) will face Rampage Brown. This will be a first-time encounter, which will pit Oku’s athleticism against Brown’s aggressiveness.
Red Scorpion will go against Man Like Dereiss (as seen in CZW). This match will be a first-time meeting and a clash between Scorpion’s wealth of experience and Dereiss’ youth.
Henry Faust & Kegstacker will team against Myles Kayman (as seen in 1PW) & Kemper. These two teams were on opposite sides of the ring earlier this year at NCL.46 Thunderstruck 2, as a part of four-man teams.
The Landed Gentry will defend the NORTH Tag Team Championship against Medusa Complex. The Landed Gentry successfully defended their championship last month at NCL.48 / THE WORLD AT LARGE 2024 in a “Gauntlet” match, but their opponents at SLAMFEST 2 this Saturday will be no less challenging- as former Sendai Girls Tag Team Champions, Medusa Complex are not strangers to winning gold.
Gene Munny will face Shreddy (as seen in BJW). They competed in a match in 2021 at NCL.2.2 Keep Your Distance, which Shreddy was the winner of. This Saturday at SLAMFEST 2, will Munny rethink his strategy and walk out the winner this time, or will Shreddy be victorious once again?
Natalie Sykes will go against Lucia Lee. With Sykes feeling like her career is in an upswing with her return to NORTH Wrestling, and Lee making her NCL debut and surely wanting to make an impression, this may be the match being talked about the next day.
