National League side Woking have confirmed the signing of Junior Morias on loan from League Two Notts County until the end of the 2024/25 season.
As reported by the club, Morias makes the move from Notts County having been on loan with Dagenham and Redbridge from the start of the season.
Morias has featured heavily for the Daggers this season, making 24 appearances and scoring 11 goals for the National League side including a memorable strike to help the club reach the third round of the FA Cup.
Morias’ season on loan from Notts County so far
The 29-year-old forward has been key to Dagenham and Redbridge currently sitting in 16th place in this year’s National League standings weighing in with some crucial goals throughout his time at Victoria Road.
Since his departure at the end of January, Dag & Red have only scored one goal in their last three matches. Daggers fans will hope it isn’t a sign of things to come following the Englishman’s departure.
Following the successful loan, Morias joins the Cards as they sit in 17th place and with a meeting with Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday night, It could be a debut to remember for Woking’s new signing.
After having spells at Wycombe Wanderers, Boreham Wood, St Mirren and Peterborough to name a few clubs, Morias is well-travelled but has found it hard to settle with a club as of yet. Maybe Woking is the final destination in the attackers career.
Woking in the National League
It’s been an inconsistent season so far for Woking as they sit in 16th place having recently appointed former AFC Wimbledon and Notts County manager Neal Ardley.
Their home form is mid-table standard but their away form is the reason they’re only five points off the relegation zone. Nine points from a possible 42 away from the Kingfield Stadium is poor and seriously worrying from a Cards fans point of view.
They’ll be hoping their new signing is the boost they need to take them to safety as an intense ending to the season looms large.
