Sheffield Wednesday are keen on a move for Brentford forward Myles Peart-Harris, as reported by The Sheffield Star.
The Championship club are looking to add more goals this January as they continue to try and push away from the relegation zone in the second division. The attacking midfielder has been identified as a target by Danny Rohl in their quest for safety.
Peart-Harris spent last season on loan in League One with Forest Green Rovers, who were relegated to League Two. The 21-year-old has made three appearances in the Premier League this season, as well as featuring in their FA Cup tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend. Those three appearances equate to ten minutes of game time in the top flight and less than 45 minutes at the weekend, leading many to believe a loan move could be on the cards for him this window.
Despite Forest Green’s relegation to League Two last season, the forward scored six goals and provided four assists in a side that only managed 31 goals in the third tier. The 21-year-old joined Brentford from Chelsea’s academy in the summer of 2021.
Wednesday have made moves in the transfer market already in this window, securing James Beadle on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. They beat out Championship rivals Birmingham City after the goalkeeper’s recall from League One Oxford United. The side are in the hunt for West Ham midfielder Conor Coventry. The side are three points from safety after three wins in their last five.

This could be another strong signing for Wednesday and one that can lead them forward in their hunt for safety. The form has been solid under Danny Rohl, with the side close to pulling off an escape that looked impossible. Peart-Harris looked comfortable with Forest Green. Ten goal contributions meant that he was involved in almost a third of their goals last season.
