QPR have reportedly pipped Championship rivals Coventry City as they are set to confirm the transfer of Westerlo midfielder Nicolas Madsen in the coming days.
The R’s have had a slow start to the season so far, but are hoping to finally gain some momentum in the coming weeks.
They have made some solid signings in the weeks since the season has begun, and once they have embedded into their squad, it will provide massive improvements which they need to climb up the Championship table.

Madsen to the R’s?
According to Darren Witcoop, QPR have beaten Coventry City to the signature of Westerlo midfielder Nicolas Madsen, as the Dane is set to join the Championship side on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old had his best season last year but is seeking a new challenge as he looks to prove his worth in the EFL.
Last season he made 35 appearances for the Belgian side, scoring a mightily impressive 14 times as he shone in what was a tough season for Westerlo.
The Belgian side is where he has truly established himself as a top player, after struggling for both SC Heerenveen and his boyhood club FC Midtjylland in the earlier stage of his career.
He is now seeking the move to the Championship as many players get their big break through playing well in one of the most-watched second-division leagues in world football.
Is QPR The Right Choice?
QPR will likely be a fantastic landing destination for Madsen as he looks to continue his development in England.
