This past Monday, WWE announced that A-Town Down Under will face Jey Uso and a partner of his choice next week on Raw.
Monday Night Raw is scheduled to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 24, and consequently, rumours have begun to swirl.
Wrestling fans think they have solved the mystery of who Jey’s partner will be with two clear options ahead of next week’s matchup.
Say his name and he’ll appear
TNA world champion Joe Hendry, who is from Scotland, is believed by many to be Jey’s partner.
Hendry was a surprise inclusion in the WWE Royal Rumble back in February.
The TNA world champion is also in Glasgow the same night of Raw performing alongside WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry for a wrestling-themed after-party titled Sweet Chin Disco.
Fans have connected the dots and believe it is indeed Hendry who will be teaming up with Jey on Raw to take on Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
Hendry himself hasn’t exactly kept it under wraps by posting a picture to his X account whilst Raw was airing on Netflix.
What about a Uso reunion?
Whilst the overwhelming majority believe that Hendry will be the one to appear alongside Jey on Raw, others are hopeful Jimmy Uso will line up alongside his brother.
The Uso’s are eight-time tag team champions and hold the longest tag team reign in WWE history at 622 days.
Jimmy is currently involved in a storyline of his own on Smackdown after he announced his intentions to go after LA Knight’s United States Championship.
However, Jimmy still had his brother’s back when Jey’s WrestleMania 41 opponent Gunther tried to trash talk his brother this past week.
Jey’s recent performances have been brought into question
Jey came under scrutiny for his performance this past week on Raw with his ‘Yeet’ entrance taking longer than his actual match.
The number one contender for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship beat Theory in 29 seconds with what Michael Cole described on commentary as a cross body.
However, it’s believed it was a badly attempted spear from Jey; A move that many wrestling fans have questioned Jey continuing to use due to his poor execution.
After the match, Jey attempted to flip over the top rope onto Theory and Waller but caught the top rope and subsequently botched the move tumbling to the floor instead of onto A-Town Down Under.
