Wrexham are deep in preparation for their upcoming Championship campaign after earning automatic promotion from League One last season.
Phil Parkinson’s side have already been linked to a host of big name players including Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen. There was also reports regarding interest in Monaco bound Paul Pogba.

League Two Gillingham Open Transfer Talks with Wrexham over Boyle
Gareth Ainsworth is preparing for his first full season in charge of League Two Gillingham and will be keen to utilise the summer transfer window to turn his squad into promotion hopefuls after a lacklustre campaign last season.
The former Wycombe Wanderers boss is known for his tough and resolute defensive sides and his focus on improving their defence has taken them to Will Boyle of Wrexham.
Talks have opened between the League Two side and the Championship newcomers over a potential move according to Alan Nixon (paywall).
Boyle’s Diminishing Power at Wrexham
Boyle signed for Wrexham in 2023, whilst the club were a League Two side from Championship Huddersfield Town and played 24 times for the club in the fourth tier as they earned promotion to League One. But was unable to make any impact in the third tier with a calf injury ruling him out for the vast majority of the season.
Now with his return from injury coupled with the club’s rapid rise up the divisions it has created a situation where the club he has returned to is not the same as the when he joined and his chances are likely to be further limited.
Gillingham can offer him the chance to rebuild his fitness at a level he has already had some success in with an experienced manager who will know how to manage his health.
