Burnley have made four permanent signings following their return to the Premier League.

Their 2-1 victory at Turf Moor against Sheffield United extended their unbeaten run to 31 games and has made Scott Parker the joint most successful Championship manager in history.

He equalled Neil Warnock’s record of three promotions which has also been achieved by Leeds boss Daniel Farke.

Parker has wasted no time in establishing players for Burnley’s Premier League return with: Jaidon Anthony, Marcus Edwards, Zian Flemming and Bashir Humphreys all confirmed to be Clarets in 2025/26, according to Alan Nixon.

Burnley sign: Jaidon Anthony

On-loan from Premier League high-flyers Bournemouth, Anthony has been a mainstay in Burnley’s promotion campaign.

He has made 41 appearances starting 40 and has made 14 goal contributions so far this season. The wide-man will sign permanently to join the club for around £10m.

Anthony has been deputised on both flanks during this season looking comfortable on either side.

He has fantastic close control when running with the ball and taking on defenders. This is proven by his 1.6 successful dribbles per 90.

Anthony has strong creative ability on the pitch making 26 accurate passes per 90, often at long range.

Burnley sign:  Marcus Edwards

Former Spurs winger Marcus Edwards arrived at Turf Moor in February on-loan from Sporting Club in Liga Portugal.

Within the loan deal was an obligation to buy which has been confirmed for a fee around £10m.

Edwards has made 13 appearances during the run-in of the Championship campaign, starting 11 on his favoured right wing.

Similar to Jaidon Anthony, Edwards’ strongest attribute is his ball carrying, completing 2.18 successful dribbles per 90 in his brief loan spell.

Marcus Edwards will add lots of top level experience to a youthful Burnley squad.

Across the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons he made 95 appearances for Sporting Club. With 22 coming in European Competition.

He was a member of the squad which eliminated Arsenal in the 2022/23 Europa League campaign proving his value in the dressing room when entering stadiums which belong to the Premier League elite.

Clarets Confirm: Zian Flemming

Burnley frontman Flemming has been on-loan from fellow Championship club Millwall. Like the previous permanent deals he will also be joining for a fee in the region of £10m.

Flemming, who is a product of the Ajax academy joined Millwall following three prolific season’s with NEC Nijmegen and Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie.

He recreated his goalscoring form in his first campaign for ‘The Lions’ netting 15 in 2022/23.

For Burnley this season the striker has scored 10 and assisted three in 34 appearances.

One of his main avenues for scoring is through headers which have accounted for four goals this campaign.

This provides a good outlet for Scott Parker’s side with wingers playing wide and crossing often having an effective player to hit in the middle.

However, for life in the Premier League Burnley may need to enter the market for another striker to offer more goals.

Burnley sign: Bashir Humphreys

The only defender in the quartet of signings, Bashir Humphreys arrived on-loan from Chelsea and is also reported to be signed for around £10m.

Starring at left-back this season, Humprheys has excellent distribution completing 86% of his passes per 90.

Other attributes to highlight are 71% tackle success and 63% aerial duels won.

Following a season with Swansea City during the previous campaign it is the natural next step for Humphrey’s career to make the jump to Premier League football.
