WWE Women’s Money in the Bank 2025 Predictions: Five Potential Winners

WWE Wrestling

The Money in the Bank PLE is just over three weeks away, and anticipation is starting to build ahead of the event.

Six women will compete in a ladder match to grab the Money in the Bank briefcase that is hung above the ring.

This year’s match will be the ninth edition of the women’s match.

Tiffany Stratton, Iyo Sky, Liv Morgan, Nikki A.S.H., Asuka, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella have all won the contract in years gone by, with all eight women successfully cashing in to become champion.

Five of the eight past winners held the briefcase for less than a day, either cashing in on the same night or the night after on Monday Night Raw.

None of the past winners have been included on this list, as in the 20 years of the men’s match, the only repeat winner was CM Punk in 2008 and 2009. So, the chances of a repeat winner are low.

Here are the five WWE stars who could win the Money in the Bank in 2025:

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has won almost everything in her WWE career, but “the Man” is yet to call herself Miss Money in the Bank.

Lynch is a Royal Rumble winner and a Grand Slam champion, with the Money in the Bank briefcase the only accolade missing from her resume.

The Man returned at WrestleMania 41 before turning heel and has been feuding with women’s intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria since.

Lynch could choose between the current champions, Stratton and Sky, to become a nine-time women’s champion in WWE, moving her one closer to Charlotte Flair’s 14 reigns.

Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green’s work over the past year, including her time as the United States women’s champion, deserves a world title push.

Green has elevated her character to new heights and won the WWE Universe over with her work.

After recently losing her US title to Zelina Vega, Green can now concentrate on going after the Money in the Bank briefcase to earn herself a guaranteed championship match.

Green was the inaugural women’s United States champion and held the title for 132 days.

Naomi

Like Green, Naomi is currently enjoying some of the best work of her career in her feud with Jade Cargill.

Naomi has been largely overlooked during her time in WWE, with her only two women’s championship reigns lasting 149 days, 33 days less than what Naomi (Trinity) held the TNA Knockouts championship for.

Winning the Money in the Bank gives Naomi an opportunity to hold her first singles title in WWE since 2017.

Jade Cargill

Question marks remain whether Cargill is ready for the main event spot.

This is despite an impressive performance against Naomi at WrestleMania 41 in what was the first women’s singles non-title match at WrestleMania since 2006.

It feels too soon to catapult Cargill into the main event picture after only one singles feud since she arrived in WWE.

Lyra Valkyria

Like many of the women on this list, Valkyria has become one of the rising stars of women’s wrestling.

Valkyria and Green have both done excellent work of elevating the mid-card titles during their inaugural reigns.

The women’s intercontinental champion was particularly impressive on the mic and in the ring against Lynch recently, and having at least one of the IC or US title holders in the match can only enhance the reputation of the championship.

It would not be the first time a WWE mid-card title holder has simultaneously held the Money in the Bank after the Miz won the briefcase in 2010 whilst holding the United States championship.
